Track Passport Global packages

Passport Global

Passport Global, often branded simply as Passport, is an international e-commerce logistics and technology company that helps online brands move orders across borders. Its shipping operations support merchants in the United States and the United Kingdom, connecting their packages with international transportation, customs processes and local delivery networks in destination countries.

Rather than operating like a traditional courier with one delivery fleet in every country, Passport combines its own logistics technology and processing network with international and local carrier partners. The company handles cross-border shipping, customs-related processes and shipment visibility, while a local postal operator or courier may complete the final delivery after the package clears customs.

Passport offers Delivered Duty Paid and Delivered Duty Unpaid shipping. With DDP, applicable duties and taxes are paid at checkout so the recipient normally does not need to make an additional customs payment before delivery. With DDU, duties and taxes are not prepaid and the recipient may need to pay customs or the local carrier before the package can be released. Passport also provides Priority, Expedited and Express service levels for different delivery requirements.

Its broader services for e-commerce brands include international returns, branded Tracking pages, duty and tax calculations, customs and compliance support, integrations with fulfillment providers and cross-border management tools. Passport also supports in-country fulfillment and internationalization services, but for shoppers waiting for an order, the Passport tracking ID and the shipment's local-carrier information are the most important tools for following delivery.

How Passport Global shipment tracking works

To Track a Passport Global package with 4Tracking, enter the complete tracking number in the tracking field and start the search. If Passport Global is not detected automatically, select the carrier manually. The package tracking results can then show the available shipment events as the order moves from the merchant through international transportation, customs clearance and final delivery.

Passport also provides its own official Tracking page. A unique Passport tracking ID is assigned when the merchant or fulfillment provider processes the shipment. The merchant normally sends this ID in the shipping-confirmation email, and it can be used to view the package's current location, shipment history and estimated delivery date.

A typical Passport journey can begin with statuses such as Passport Awaiting Item or Shipment details sent to Passport. These indicate that the merchant has created the shipment but Passport has not yet received the package at its processing facility. Once it arrives, Tracking can change to Received at origin center, followed by export preparation and international transit events.

After the shipment reaches its destination country, Tracking can show customs processing, customs clearance and handoff to a local carrier. Passport's tracking page includes a Your local delivery section once this information becomes available. It can display the final-mile carrier, a separate local tracking number and a link to that carrier's tracking system.

This means one Passport Global package can have both a Passport tracking ID and a second tracking number used by the final-mile carrier. The local carrier's Tracking page may sometimes show a newer scan because carrier systems do not always synchronize at the same time.

Passport Global tracking number formats

Passport officially describes its primary shipment identifier as a unique Passport tracking ID. However, the current public documentation reviewed does not publish a universal prefix, fixed number of characters or exact combination of letters and digits that applies to every Passport shipment.

Because Passport does not document one universal format, use the complete tracking ID exactly as it appears in the merchant's shipping-confirmation email or Passport tracking page. Do not add a prefix, remove characters or modify the number to resemble examples from unofficial tracking websites.

A second identifier can appear after customs clearance when Passport transfers the parcel to a local carrier. This final-mile tracking number follows the format used by that carrier rather than a Passport-specific pattern. Passport identifies partners such as Royal Mail and Evri in the United Kingdom, Canada Post in Canada and other postal or courier companies depending on the destination and service level.

If you cannot find your Passport tracking ID, check the shipping confirmation from the merchant and your spam or junk folder. Passport states that most merchants send the tracking information after the order ships. If it is still unavailable, contact the merchant or Passport support for help locating the shipment.

Passport Global delivery times

Passport delivery times depend on the service level, destination and customs conditions. The company's current official guidance states that most international packages take approximately 6 to 12 business days after reaching a Passport facility. The clock therefore does not necessarily begin when the customer places the order or when the merchant creates the shipping label.

Priority DDP delivery

Passport lists a typical delivery time of approximately 4 to 12 business days for Priority DDP shipments, depending on the destination region. Because duties and taxes are paid at checkout, the recipient normally does not need to make an additional payment before customs clearance can continue.

For example, an eligible package that has reached a Passport processing facility and is moving under Priority DDP may fall within the published 4–12-business-day range. Customs inspections, weather, public holidays or local-carrier disruptions can still extend the actual delivery time.

Priority DDU delivery

Priority DDU shipments have a published typical range of approximately 5 to 18 business days. With DDU, duties and taxes can be collected before delivery, so a shipment may remain with customs or the local carrier until the recipient completes any required payment or provides requested information.

Expedited and Express delivery

Passport lists approximately 1 to 5 business days for its Expedited and Express services once the package has reached a Passport facility. These are the company's faster service levels and receive priority handling during the international journey.

Packages traveling from a merchant to Passport

The time needed for a package to reach Passport's facility comes before the international transit ranges above. For orders shipped from the United States, Passport says the next processing-center update should normally appear within five business days after Passport Awaiting Item. For orders originating in the United Kingdom, the corresponding guidance is within three business days.

If the status remains Passport Awaiting Item for more than ten days, Passport advises contacting the merchant because the parcel has not yet reached Passport for processing.

Final-mile delivery times

Once customs clearance is complete, the local carrier controls the last stage of delivery. Passport does not guarantee a specific delivery hour because each carrier creates its own routes according to parcel volume, traffic and staffing. Passport states that most deliveries occur between approximately 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. local time, although the exact schedule depends on the destination carrier.

Understanding common Passport Global tracking statuses

Passport Awaiting Item

This means the order is traveling from the merchant or fulfillment location toward a Passport processing facility. Passport has shipment information but has not yet received the parcel for international processing.

Received at origin center

This status means Passport has received the package at its processing facility and is sorting it and preparing it for export. Passport's published international delivery timelines begin from this stage.

Departed origin facility or Exported

The package has left Passport's origin processing operation and is moving toward the airport, consolidator or international transportation stage.

Arrived in destination country

The shipment has reached the destination country's import network and will normally proceed toward customs processing. Arrival in the country does not mean that the package is ready for final delivery yet.

At customs or Pending customs review

The parcel is being processed by customs. Additional time can be required if officials request documentation, identification information, a tax number, duties or taxes, or a physical inspection.

Cleared customs

The shipment has completed customs processing and can proceed toward the local delivery network.

Handed to local carrier

The final-mile delivery company has received or is receiving the package. Passport's Tracking page should display local-delivery information when available, including the local carrier's own tracking number.

Out for delivery

The package is with the final-mile carrier for a delivery attempt. The local courier has the most accurate information about delivery instructions or the expected delivery window at this stage.

What to do if your Passport Global package has a tracking or delivery issue

A short gap between Tracking updates is normal with international shipping. Passport states that most packages receive a new scan approximately every two to three business days, but longer gaps can occur while a parcel moves between countries, waits for airline capacity, passes through customs or transfers between carrier systems.

Passport currently advises contacting support when there have been no new scans for five or more business days, when the estimated delivery date has passed, or when Tracking shows an exception without explaining what action is required. Before contacting support, check your email for customs requests, duty-payment instructions or messages from the local carrier.

Passport customer support is available through live chat on the Tracking page or Help Center and by email at help@passportglobal.com. Passport states that it does not provide telephone support. Current live-support hours are Monday through Friday from 1:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time and Saturday through Sunday from 1:00 a.m. to 12:01 p.m. Eastern Time. Its automated assistant remains available around the clock.

When contacting Passport, provide the Passport tracking number and the order number if available. Passport can investigate Tracking gaps, customs-related delays and carrier issues. Once the package has been transferred to the local carrier, that carrier is usually the best contact for delivery instructions, failed delivery attempts, pickup arrangements or DDU duty payments.

If the problem concerns a refund, replacement, order cancellation, product issue or return decision, contact the merchant instead. Passport is the shipping provider and does not control the merchant's payment system, inventory or refund process. Passport also states that shipment speed, service level and local carrier normally cannot be changed after the parcel is already in transit.

If a package has no Tracking activity for two weeks or more, Passport may consider it likely lost after reviewing the route and service. If Passport confirms that the shipment is likely lost, the recipient is instructed to contact the merchant to discuss a replacement, refund or other resolution.

Frequently asked questions about Passport Global package tracking issues

How do I Track a Passport Global package?

Enter the Passport tracking ID on 4Tracking and start the search. If Passport Global is not detected automatically, select it manually. You can also use Passport's official Tracking page to view the current status and estimated delivery date.

What does a Passport Global tracking number look like?

Passport calls it a unique Passport tracking ID, but its current public documentation does not specify one universal prefix, character count or letter-and-number pattern. Use the ID exactly as supplied by the merchant.

Where can I find my Passport Global tracking number?

Check the shipping-confirmation email sent by the merchant after the order ships. The tracking ID can also be associated with your Passport tracking-page link. If you cannot find it, contact the merchant or Passport support.

Why do I have two tracking numbers for one Passport package?

This can be normal. Passport provides its own tracking ID for the international journey, while the local carrier can assign another number for final delivery after customs clearance. The Passport tracking page displays the local tracking number when it becomes available.

Why has my Passport Global package tracking stopped updating?

Tracking can pause while the package moves between processing facilities or countries, waits for transportation, passes through customs or transfers to the final-mile carrier. Passport says most shipments receive scans about every two to three business days, although longer gaps can occur.

When should I contact Passport about missing Tracking updates?

Passport currently recommends contacting support if there have been no new scans for five or more business days, the estimated delivery date has passed, or Tracking shows an unexplained exception or hold.

How long does Passport Global delivery take?

Most international packages take approximately 6 to 12 business days after reaching a Passport facility. The exact service matters: Priority DDP is typically 4–12 business days, Priority DDU 5–18 business days, and Expedited or Express approximately 1–5 business days.

Does the delivery estimate begin when I place my order?

No. Passport's published international timelines begin when the package reaches a Passport facility and receives the Received at origin center status. Merchant preparation and transportation from the merchant to Passport happen before that point.

What does Passport Awaiting Item mean?

It means the shipment is traveling from the merchant toward Passport's processing center and Passport has not physically received it yet. Passport expects the next processing-center update within about five business days for U.S.-origin orders and three business days for UK-origin orders.

What should I do if Passport Awaiting Item does not change?

If the status has remained unchanged for more than ten days, Passport advises contacting the merchant because the package has not reached Passport for processing.

What should I do if my Passport package is stuck at customs?

Check your email for requests from customs or the local carrier. You may need to provide documentation, a tax ID, a phone number or payment of duties and taxes. For DDU shipments, delivery can remain paused until required import charges are paid.

Who delivers a Passport Global package to my address?

The final carrier depends on the destination, routing and service level. Once customs clearance is complete, the Your local delivery section of Passport's Tracking page shows the carrier responsible for the last mile and provides its local tracking number when available.

What should I do if Passport says Delivered but I cannot find the package?

Check around the delivery location and ask household members or neighbors first. Then open the local-carrier information from the Passport tracking page and contact the carrier that performed the final delivery. If the package remains missing, contact Passport for additional guidance.

How do I contact Passport Global about a shipment?

Email help@passportglobal.com or use live chat on the Passport Tracking page or Help Center. Passport does not currently offer telephone support. Have your tracking number and order number ready so the support team can locate the shipment.
