Track Delhivery packages

Delhivery

Delhivery is an integrated logistics and parcel delivery company serving customers across India. Its network supports e-commerce retailers, direct-to-consumer brands, small businesses, enterprises and individuals, with official company information stating that its domestic reach covers more than 99% of India's population.

Express Parcel is a central part of Delhivery's operations, handling e-commerce and other business-to-consumer packages across India. Individuals can also book personal courier shipments online or through the Delhivery app, choose between available Surface and Express modes, arrange doorstep pickup and follow their orders through Tracking.

Beyond ordinary parcels, Delhivery provides Part Truckload and Full Truckload freight, warehousing, supply-chain services, heavy-parcel transportation and technology products for businesses. Delhivery One gives commercial customers tools for creating shipments, generating waybills, arranging pickups, managing returns, monitoring delivery exceptions and integrating online stores such as Shopify and WooCommerce.

Delhivery also offers specialized services for faster local fulfillment and cross-border shipping from India. These products have different service areas, eligibility conditions and transit times, so recipients should rely on the service and estimated delivery date attached to their individual shipment rather than assuming that every Delhivery package follows the same timetable.

How to Track Delhivery packages

You can Track a Delhivery shipment on 4Tracking by entering the tracking ID supplied by Delhivery, the seller or the online store. 4Tracking is a universal package tracking website that can display available Delhivery shipment events as a package moves through pickup, sorting, transportation and final delivery in India.

Delhivery's official tracking service accepts an AWB or LRN as a tracking identifier. Enter the complete number exactly as it appears on your shipping label, order details, receipt or delivery notification. If 4Tracking does not identify Delhivery automatically, select Delhivery manually and start the Tracking search again.

For business-to-consumer orders created through Delhivery One, an AWB number is assigned when the shipment is manifested and becomes ready to ship. After the package is collected, its status can progress through stages such as Ready for Pickup, In Transit, Out for Delivery and Delivered. Delhivery's business system can also record cancelled shipments, Return to Origin movements and packages marked lost.

Detailed Tracking can provide the last recorded location for an in-transit shipment, the number of delivery attempts and agent remarks for a package that is Out for Delivery, and proof of delivery after successful delivery. The amount of information visible to a recipient can depend on the shipment type and the system through which the parcel was booked.

Delhivery tracking number formats

Delhivery commonly identifies parcel shipments with an Air Waybill number, usually abbreviated as AWB. The AWB is generated when an eligible shipment is manifested, is printed on the shipping label and is scanned by Delhivery during the pickup and transportation process.

Delhivery's current public documentation does not state one universal fixed length, prefix or numeric pattern that can safely be applied to every B2C AWB. Business customers can generate AWBs automatically or obtain a batch of waybill numbers in advance through Delhivery One, so it is better to use the exact AWB provided for the shipment rather than trying to identify a parcel solely by an assumed number format.

B2B cargo uses another officially documented identifier called an LRN, or Lorry Receipt Number. Delhivery specifies that a B2B LRN is a unique 9-digit number representing the shipment and used for tracking purposes. A B2B order can also have a Master AWB and, where multiple packages are associated with the same cargo order, individual child AWBs.

Because Delhivery's tracking page accepts both AWB and LRN identifiers, first determine which type of shipment you have. Most ordinary online-shopping parcels are associated with an AWB, while an LRN is specifically used for B2B cargo. Do not substitute the retailer's internal order number unless the sender specifically identifies it as a valid tracking reference.

Delhivery delivery times

Delhivery does not publish one universal number of delivery days for every standard parcel in India. Delivery time depends on the origin and destination pincodes, shipment mode, pickup time, service eligibility and package characteristics. Delhivery One calculates delivery times for a shipment before booking, while personal-courier customers can compare available Surface and Express options for their route.

For eligible business shipments, Delhivery offers a Next Day Delivery service. Official guidance states that NDD is designed to deliver eligible forward shipments by the next calendar day, subject to the origin-destination route being serviceable, the customer's account being eligible and the shipment being created before the applicable pickup cutoff.

Next Day Delivery is not available for every package or every pincode combination. Delhivery checks eligibility using the pickup and destination pincodes, and the NDD option appears during order creation only when the route and shipment meet the service requirements. Returns and reverse shipments are not currently supported under this NDD service.

Delhivery also operates Rapid, a specialized in-city fulfillment service for participating brands. Official company information describes Rapid as providing approximately 2–4-hour in-city fulfillment, with the service operating through local fulfillment facilities. This is a specialized rapid-commerce product and should not be interpreted as the delivery time for ordinary Delhivery Express Parcel shipments.

For personal courier bookings, Delhivery advertises same-day pickup when an eligible order is booked before 2 PM. This refers to collection of the package from the sender rather than same-day delivery to the recipient. The actual delivery time after pickup depends on the selected transportation mode and route.

Delhivery's national-courier terms also state that weekends, holidays, bank holidays, security-related delays, force majeure events and delays beyond the company's reasonable control are not counted as part of normal door-to-door delivery timelines. For the most accurate expectation, follow the estimated arrival date displayed for your individual shipment.

Understanding common Delhivery tracking statuses

A Delhivery shipment can pass through several states before reaching the recipient. Ready to Ship generally means the shipment has been manifested and assigned an AWB, while Ready for Pickup means a pickup request has been created and the package is waiting to be collected.

In Transit means Delhivery has collected the shipment and it is moving toward the customer. Out for Delivery means the package has reached the delivery stage and has been assigned for an attempt at the recipient's address. Delivered confirms successful completion and can include proof-of-delivery information in Delhivery's business systems.

Return to Origin, often shortened to RTO, indicates that a package is moving back toward the sender after delivery could not be completed or another return condition occurred. Delhivery One also maintains Non-Delivery Reports for unsuccessful deliveries, allowing eligible business senders to review exceptions and take available actions.

What to do if your Delhivery shipment has a problem

If package tracking has stopped updating, first compare the latest scan with the expected delivery date shown for your shipment. A parcel may be travelling between Delhivery facilities without a new customer-facing scan at every stage. If the order remains only at an early pickup status, the sender may also need to confirm whether the physical package was actually handed to Delhivery.

For shipment assistance, Delhivery directs customers to its official Support Center, where you can log in with your mobile number and raise a query for the affected package. The support process covers areas including shipment status, destination and contact details, returns and delivery problems.

Delhivery's current official Support Center also lists +91 8069856101 as a contact number. Because Delhivery warns customers about fraudulent support numbers and delivery-related phishing messages, use only contact information displayed on the official Delhivery website or app rather than numbers found on unofficial websites or unsolicited messages.

Business customers using Delhivery One can create a support ticket and provide the affected AWB or pickup ID. Delhivery's system generates a ticket ID that can be followed for resolution, and users can add a description and supporting files when further evidence is necessary.

When reporting a delayed, lost, damaged or incorrectly routed package, keep the AWB or LRN, sender and recipient information, pickup date, destination and latest Tracking status available. Screenshots, photographs and other supporting documents can also help when the problem involves damage, delivery exceptions or an incorrect shipment status.

Frequently asked questions about Delhivery package tracking issues

Why is my Delhivery tracking not updating?

A parcel can travel between Delhivery facilities without receiving a public scan at every stage. Check the estimated delivery date and latest recorded location. If the package remains unchanged beyond the expected period, raise a query through Delhivery's official support service or contact the sender.

Where can I find my Delhivery tracking number?

Look for the AWB on the shipping label, retailer shipping confirmation, order page, SMS or other delivery notification. Business cargo can instead use an LRN. Use the identifier specifically associated with shipment Tracking rather than automatically entering the retailer's order number.

What does a Delhivery tracking number look like?

Ordinary parcel shipments use an AWB, but Delhivery's current public documentation does not establish one universal fixed character pattern for every B2C AWB. B2B cargo has a more clearly documented format: the LRN is a unique 9-digit number used to represent and Track the cargo shipment.

What is the difference between an AWB and an LRN?

An AWB is the waybill identifier associated with a parcel or individual shipment. An LRN, or Lorry Receipt Number, is used for Delhivery B2B cargo and is officially defined as a unique 9-digit tracking number. B2B cargo can also have Master and child AWBs in addition to its LRN.

How long does Delhivery delivery take?

There is no single published transit time covering every Delhivery parcel in India. Delivery depends on the origin and destination pincodes, Surface or Express mode, shipment type and operational conditions. Use the estimated delivery time calculated for your particular booking.

Does Delhivery offer next-day delivery?

Yes, for eligible business shipments and serviceable routes. Delhivery's Next Day Delivery service targets delivery by the next calendar day when the customer, origin-destination route, shipment and pickup cutoff meet the NDD requirements. It is not available for every shipment.

Does Delhivery offer same-day or rapid delivery?

Delhivery has specialized rapid services. Its Rapid fulfillment product is designed for approximately 2–4-hour in-city fulfillment for participating brands. Delhivery also advertises same-day pickup for eligible personal courier bookings made before 2 PM, but same-day pickup should not be confused with a promise of same-day national parcel delivery.

What does In Transit mean on Delhivery tracking?

In Transit means Delhivery has picked up the shipment and it is moving through the logistics network toward its destination. Delhivery One can display the most recently recorded location while a business shipment is in this state.

What does Out for Delivery mean?

Out for Delivery means the package has reached the local delivery stage and a delivery attempt is being made. Delhivery's business tracking tools can show the number of attempts and the latest remarks associated with this stage.

What does RTO mean on Delhivery tracking?

RTO means Return to Origin. It indicates that a shipment is being returned toward the sender rather than continuing to the recipient. This can follow an unsuccessful delivery or another condition that causes the shipment to be returned.

Why does my Delhivery order show Ready for Pickup for a long time?

Ready for Pickup means a pickup request exists but the normal next step is for Delhivery to collect the physical shipment. If the status remains unchanged, the sender should verify whether the package was prepared and successfully handed over to the assigned pickup agent.

How can I contact Delhivery about a delayed package?

Use the Support Center or Delhivery app to log in and raise a shipment query. Delhivery's current official Support Center also lists +91 8069856101. Use only official Delhivery support channels because the company specifically warns customers about fraudulent customer-care numbers and phishing messages.

Can I Track Delhivery packages on 4Tracking?

Yes. Enter your Delhivery AWB or supported tracking identifier on 4Tracking to follow available package tracking events. If Delhivery is not detected automatically, select Delhivery manually and start the Tracking search again.
