Track EasyShip packages

EasyShip

EasyShip is a global shipping technology platform that connects online sellers and businesses with courier services rather than operating as a single parcel carrier. Merchants can compare shipping options, generate labels, manage orders and follow deliveries from one system while the physical transportation of each package is performed by the courier selected for that shipment.

EasyShip provides shipping tools for businesses in markets including Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States, although the exact services available depend on the origin country. EasyShip currently provides its own pre-negotiated courier solutions from several markets, including Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. Merchants in countries such as India and Taiwan can also use EasyShip while connecting their own supported courier accounts where required.

The platform is designed around multi-carrier shipping. When preparing an order, a merchant can compare available courier services by price, estimated delivery time, Tracking level and other service characteristics before purchasing a shipping label. EasyShip also provides integrations for e-commerce stores, shipping automation, customer tracking notifications and fulfillment services, making it possible to manage different stages of an order from a single account.

For recipients, the important distinction is that an EasyShip shipment is ultimately transported by another courier. This means the tracking number, delivery speed and final delivery procedures depend on the courier chosen by the seller. You can Track supported EasyShip packages through 4Tracking using the tracking number supplied with the order and follow the available package tracking events as the parcel moves through the delivery network.

How EasyShip shipment tracking works

When a merchant creates a shipment through EasyShip, shipment information is sent to the selected courier and a shipping label is generated. For trackable services, the resulting tracking number is associated with the shipment and can be used to follow the package after the courier begins scanning it.

EasyShip gathers Tracking information from many different couriers and converts their numerous individual status messages into simpler categories. These include statuses such as Pending Tracking Event, Tracking Info Received, In Transit, Out for Delivery, Delivered, Failed Delivery Attempts and Exception. An Exception can indicate situations such as customs processing, additional documentation requirements, repeated failed delivery attempts or another problem requiring attention.

EasyShip account holders can Track shipments from the Manage Shipments section of the dashboard by selecting the tracking number or viewing the shipment's tracking details. EasyShip also distinguishes between an Easy ID, which identifies the shipment within its platform, and the Tracking ID used for the actual delivery journey.

Recipients can use 4Tracking by entering the courier tracking number supplied by the seller. Because EasyShip works with many carriers, 4Tracking is particularly useful when you want to check package tracking without first determining which courier was selected through EasyShip.

EasyShip tracking number formats

There is no single universal EasyShip tracking-number format. EasyShip is a shipping platform rather than one carrier with its own standardized parcel-number system, so the tracking number is determined by the courier service chosen when the shipment is created.

As a result, EasyShip tracking numbers can differ in length, prefixes, suffixes and combinations of letters and digits. A shipment transported by one postal operator can have a completely different format from a shipment handled by an express courier, even though both shipping labels were purchased through EasyShip.

EasyShip's own documentation displays the Easy ID and Tracking ID as separate shipment details and does not publish one character pattern that applies to every package. For this reason, you should copy the tracking number exactly as provided in the merchant's shipping confirmation, Tracking email or order page rather than trying to convert it into an assumed EasyShip format.

If the seller provides both an EasyShip reference and a courier tracking number, use the courier tracking number for public package tracking whenever possible. If no tracking number was issued, the seller may have selected a service with no Tracking, in which case normal scan-by-scan shipment updates will not be available.

EasyShip delivery times

EasyShip does not have one delivery time for every shipment because delivery is performed by different couriers and services. The estimated time depends on the origin, destination, selected courier, service level, customs requirements and other conditions affecting the route.

When merchants compare courier services, EasyShip displays estimated delivery times alongside the available shipping options. EasyShip explains that these delivery times are estimates based on its internal shipment data rather than guaranteed delivery promises from the courier unless the specific courier service itself includes a guarantee.

As an official example of how these estimates work, EasyShip has shown a service with an estimated delivery window of 1–2 working days. In that example, its historical data indicated that about 50% of packages using the service arrived within one working day and about 90% arrived within two working days. This illustrates how EasyShip calculates and presents an estimated window rather than establishing a 1–2 day delivery promise for every EasyShip package.

EasyShip has also used UPS Worldwide Saver and DHL Express Worldwide in a courier-comparison example where both services displayed an estimated 1–2 working-day delivery time. These figures relate to those example shipping options and should not be applied to unrelated routes or services. Economy, postal and cross-border options can have substantially different delivery windows.

Delays can occur because of customs clearance, unsuccessful delivery attempts, weather or environmental disruption, damaged labels, damaged packaging and other operational issues. The latest Tracking events are therefore useful for understanding whether the package is progressing normally or has encountered a problem after shipment.

How to contact EasyShip about shipment issues

EasyShip account holders can contact customer support at support@easyship.com. EasyShip states that email support is available across its subscription plans, while access to live chat and telephone support depends on the account's subscription level. Current documentation specifies live chat for Plus plans and above and phone support for Premier plans and above.

For recipients, the correct contact can depend on the problem. If Tracking shows several unsuccessful delivery attempts, EasyShip recommends contacting the local courier to arrange another delivery attempt or collection. If a shipment is being held at customs, the recipient may also need to contact the courier directly to provide documents, pay required charges or obtain clearance instructions.

If you bought an item from an online store and do not have an EasyShip merchant account, contacting the seller is often the most practical first step. The seller can see the courier selected through EasyShip, review the shipment in its dashboard and contact EasyShip or the courier when an investigation or claim is required.

If the Tracking status shows Exception and the reason is unclear, EasyShip also directs users to its customer service team for further information. When reporting a problem, provide the tracking number, order information and the most recent Tracking status so the shipment can be identified accurately.

Frequently asked questions about EasyShip package tracking issues

Is EasyShip a courier?

No. EasyShip officially describes itself as a shipping technology platform rather than a courier. It connects merchants with different courier services, generates shipping labels and provides Tracking tools, while the selected courier physically transports and delivers the package.

Why do EasyShip tracking numbers have different formats?

The format depends on the courier selected for the shipment. EasyShip does not publish one universal tracking-number structure because packages created through the platform can travel with many different postal, express and hybrid delivery services.

Why is my EasyShip package tracking showing no updates?

A newly generated label may initially show a Pending Tracking Event because the courier has not performed the first scan. If the package has already been handed to the courier and Tracking remains unchanged for an unusual period, contact the seller or the courier handling the shipment.

Can an EasyShip shipment have no tracking number?

Yes. EasyShip supports courier services with different Tracking levels, including services described as having no Tracking. With an untracked service, no tracking number or journey updates are provided, so the package cannot be followed through normal package tracking events.

How long does an EasyShip package take to arrive?

There is no single EasyShip delivery time. The delivery estimate depends on the courier, service, origin and destination. EasyShip displays estimated delivery windows when comparing services and explains that these are generally estimates based on shipment data rather than guaranteed delivery times.

Why does my EasyShip shipment show Exception?

An Exception means the shipment requires attention or has encountered an issue. EasyShip lists possible causes including customs holds, repeated failed delivery attempts, return to sender, unpaid duties or taxes, and requests from customs for additional documentation.

What should I do after a failed EasyShip delivery attempt?

Contact the courier responsible for final delivery as soon as possible. EasyShip advises recipients to work with the local courier to reschedule delivery or arrange collection when the courier has already made unsuccessful delivery attempts.

Who should I contact if an EasyShip package is delayed?

If you are the recipient, first check the latest Tracking information and identify the courier handling the package. You can contact that courier for delivery-specific problems or ask the merchant to investigate. EasyShip account holders can also contact support@easyship.com for assistance with shipments created through their account.

Can I Track an EasyShip package with 4Tracking?

Yes, when the courier and tracking number are supported. Enter the tracking number supplied by the merchant into 4Tracking to follow the available package tracking events. Because EasyShip uses multiple couriers, this can be convenient when you do not immediately know which delivery company is handling the shipment.
