Track Estafeta packages

Estafeta

Estafeta is a Mexican logistics, courier, and parcel delivery company that has been operating since 1979. The company began by providing door-to-door courier and parcel services in Mexico and has since developed into an integrated logistics provider serving individuals, online stores, manufacturers, retailers, and businesses that need domestic or international transportation.

Estafeta operates an extensive air and ground transportation network and provides services ranging from small envelopes and e-commerce parcels to larger freight shipments. Its domestic delivery options include urgent deliveries, next-business-day service, two-business-day delivery, and economy ground shipping, while its international network connects Mexico with more than 220 countries and territories.

The company also provides international express shipping, cross-border e-commerce logistics, imports, freight distribution, LTL and FTL transportation, customs assistance, optional shipment insurance, pickup services, delivery notifications, and logistics solutions for businesses. Estafeta has also operated its own scheduled air-cargo network and uses technology to provide shipment visibility from collection through delivery.

For recipients waiting for an online order, one of the most useful Estafeta services is shipment Tracking. Users can Track Estafeta packages on 4tracking to see available package tracking updates in one place, including origin processing, transit, destination handling, out-for-delivery events, and final delivery. Estafeta’s official tracking website can also be used as an additional option when needed.

How Estafeta package Tracking works

How to Track an Estafeta package

The easiest way to Track an Estafeta shipment is to enter the tracking number on 4tracking. Our tracking platform helps users follow available Estafeta package tracking events and is especially useful for online orders that may involve more than one carrier before or after Estafeta handles the package.

Estafeta also provides an official online tracking system as a secondary option. According to the carrier’s official instructions, customers can enter either a 10-digit tracking code or a 22-digit guide number. When the shipment shows “En tránsito,” users can open the shipment history to see its most recent location and movement.

A typical Estafeta Tracking journey may include shipment information created, package received by Estafeta, processing at an operating center, in transit, arrival at the destination facility, assigned for delivery, out for delivery, delivery attempt, and delivered. International shipments may also show export, customs, import processing, or international transport events.

Why Estafeta Tracking may not update immediately

An Estafeta package may show no information when the tracking number was entered incorrectly or when the sender created the shipment but Estafeta has not physically received it yet. If the number is correct, wait for the first carrier scan and check Tracking again later.

Tracking can also remain unchanged while a shipment travels between operating centers, moves through a long-distance ground route, or undergoes customs processing. A short gap between scans does not automatically mean that the package is lost.

Estafeta tracking number forms

10-digit Estafeta tracking code

Estafeta officially uses a 10-digit tracking code as one of the main identifiers for package tracking. The code is printed on the shipping guide and may also appear on the purchase receipt, seller’s shipping confirmation, order page, or delivery notification.

22-digit Estafeta guide number

Estafeta also assigns a 22-digit guide number to shipments. This longer number can be used to Track the package in the same way as the 10-digit tracking code. For example, a guide may follow a numeric form such as 1234567890123456789012.

Which Estafeta number should I use?

If you have both numbers, either the 10-digit tracking code or the 22-digit guide number can identify the shipment. Copy the number exactly as provided by the seller or Estafeta and enter it on 4tracking. If one reference does not work yet, confirm that the sender has actually handed the parcel to Estafeta.

Estafeta package delivery time

How long does Estafeta delivery take in Mexico?

Estafeta offers several domestic delivery speeds. Its Horario Garantizado service is designed for urgent packages with delivery before 12:30 on the following business day where coverage is available. The Día Siguiente service delivers on the next business day, generally during an open delivery window between 9:00 and 18:00.

The Dos Días option is designed for delivery on the second business day, while Estafeta’s Terrestre service normally takes approximately 3 to 5 business days, depending on the destination zone and delivery frequency.

Estafeta domestic delivery-time examples

For example, an eligible Día Siguiente package accepted by Estafeta on Monday would normally be scheduled for delivery on Tuesday. A shipment using the Dos Días service and accepted on Monday would generally be expected around Wednesday, provided there are no holidays or operating exceptions.

A Terrestre package accepted on Monday may arrive between Thursday and the following Monday when using the general 3-to-5-business-day range. Some remote locations have different delivery frequencies, so the exact date depends on the origin and destination postal codes.

How long does Estafeta international delivery take?

For international shipments, Estafeta’s Global Express service lists delivery of approximately 1 to 3 business days to the United States and Canada and approximately 2 to 5 business days to other international destinations. These times can change when customs inspection or import procedures are involved.

Estafeta’s USA Económico service is a ground option for shipments to the United States with an estimated delivery time of approximately 3 to 5 business days. For Crossborder e-commerce imports into Mexico, Estafeta lists customs-release processing of approximately 24 to 48 hours, followed by the transit time of the selected domestic delivery service.

What can delay an Estafeta package?

Delivery can take longer because of customs inspections, holidays, incorrect addresses, remote-destination delivery frequency, weather, traffic, operational disruptions, restricted items, or circumstances outside the carrier’s control. For the most accurate information, Track the shipment on 4tracking and follow the newest Tracking event rather than relying only on the original estimated delivery date.

Estafeta services

Domestic courier and parcel delivery

Estafeta delivers documents and packages throughout Mexico using several service levels. Customers can choose faster options such as Horario Garantizado and Día Siguiente or more economical services such as Dos Días and Terrestre according to the urgency and destination.

International shipping

Estafeta provides international parcel and document delivery to more than 220 countries and territories. Services include Global Express, USA Económico, Importación Exprés, Crossborder, and other import and export solutions.

Cross-border e-commerce delivery

Estafeta Crossborder is designed for online purchases moving from markets such as the United States, Europe, and Asia to consumers in Mexico. The service combines international movement, customs processing, and domestic final delivery.

LTL and FTL freight

Estafeta also transports larger commercial shipments through LTL and FTL distribution services. Its freight network includes scheduled road routes, specialized vehicles, cross-docking, electronic delivery confirmation, and door-to-door distribution in supported locations.

Shipment insurance

Optional insurance is available for eligible Estafeta shipments. This can provide additional protection against covered loss, theft, or damage according to the declared value, applicable deductible, and service conditions.

Delivery management options

For eligible shipments, Estafeta provides optional delivery-management tools that may allow recipients to change the delivery date, select another address within the same destination city, redirect the parcel to an Estafeta location, or use an extended delivery window. Availability depends on the shipment and destination.

How to contact Estafeta if there is a shipment issue

Official Estafeta customer support

If your shipment has a problem, first Track it on 4tracking and check its most recent package tracking event. If further assistance is needed, Estafeta’s official customer service can be reached at 55 5270 8300 or 800 3782338. Estafeta also provides WhatsApp support through 55 5270 8300 and an online contact and reporting system.

If Tracking shows a problem, Estafeta allows customers to generate a tracking report through its official tracking support system. When contacting support, have the 10-digit tracking code or 22-digit guide number, sender information, recipient information, delivery address, and latest status ready.

Contact the seller first for online-store purchases

If the shipment contains something you purchased from an online store, marketplace, or retailer, it is usually best to contact the seller or sender first. The seller arranged the shipment and normally has the shipping receipt, Estafeta account information, proof of handover, order details, and access to the commercial support process.

The seller can verify whether Estafeta actually received the parcel, request an investigation, provide missing shipment information, and arrange a replacement or refund if the order is lost or cannot be delivered. You can still contact Estafeta directly for delivery information, but the merchant is generally responsible for resolving problems with the purchase itself.

Frequently asked questions about Estafeta package tracking issues

Why is my Estafeta tracking number not showing information?

The number may have been entered incorrectly, or the seller may have generated the shipping label before handing the package to Estafeta. Verify the 10-digit tracking code or 22-digit guide number, then check again later on 4tracking. If no information appears after the expected handover, contact the seller.

Can I Track Estafeta packages on 4tracking?

Yes. Enter your Estafeta tracking number on 4tracking to follow available package tracking and delivery updates. This is especially useful for online orders that may involve different carriers during the shipment journey.

What is the difference between an Estafeta tracking code and guide number?

The tracking code contains 10 digits, while the guide number contains 22 digits. Both are unique identifiers associated with an Estafeta shipment and can be used for Tracking.

Why is my Estafeta package stuck “In Transit”?

“In Transit” means the shipment is still moving through the Estafeta network. It may be travelling between facilities or waiting for its next processing event. Check the shipment history to see the latest recorded location and movement.

How long does Estafeta take to deliver?

Domestic delivery depends on the service selected. Día Siguiente is designed for the next business day, Dos Días for the second business day, and Terrestre generally takes approximately 3 to 5 business days. International Global Express shipments are generally estimated at 1 to 3 business days to the United States and Canada and 2 to 5 business days to other destinations, subject to customs.

Can I Track an Estafeta package using the recipient’s name?

No. Estafeta’s official tracking system requires a guide number or tracking code and does not provide shipment searches using only the sender’s or recipient’s name.

Can I change the delivery address of my Estafeta shipment?

Estafeta states that an address cannot normally be changed once the shipment is already on its delivery route. For eligible packages that have not reached that stage, optional delivery-management services may allow certain changes within the same destination city.

Can I redirect an Estafeta package to a branch?

For eligible shipments, Estafeta’s optional services may allow the recipient to change delivery to an Estafeta branch, concessionaire, or participating location within the same destination city. Check the Tracking page to see whether the option is available for your shipment.

What should I do if Estafeta says delivered but I did not receive the package?

Check with household members, reception staff, security personnel, neighbors, or anyone authorized to receive packages at the address. Review the latest 4tracking status and then contact the seller and Estafeta if the parcel still cannot be located.

What should I do if my Estafeta shipment is delayed?

Track the package on 4tracking and review its latest movement. If the shipment has exceeded the expected delivery period, contact the seller or sender and ask them to investigate. Estafeta also allows shipment problems to be reported through its official tracking-support process.

Does Estafeta deliver on Saturdays?

Estafeta states that its standard delivery frequency is generally Monday through Friday, while special Saturday delivery services may be available depending on the location and contracted service.

Can customs delay an Estafeta international package?

Yes. Customs inspections, documentation checks, taxes, duties, product restrictions, and import procedures can extend international delivery times. Estafeta notes that some international delivery guarantees do not apply when shipments are subject to customs review.

What should I do if an Estafeta package is lost or damaged?

Keep the shipping documents, invoice, packaging, photographs, and Tracking information. Contact the seller if the shipment contains an online purchase, and use Estafeta’s official customer-service or claim process to report the incident. Estafeta states that compensation procedures are handled with the sender, so involving the sender early is important.

Who should I contact first about an Estafeta online order?

Contact the seller, sender, or retailer first. They arranged the shipment and can verify the handover, open a carrier investigation, and assist with a replacement or refund if necessary. Include your order number, Estafeta tracking number, delivery address, and latest 4tracking status when reporting the problem.
