Track Saudi Post packages

Saudi Post SPL

Saudi Post, now operating under the Saudi Post | SPL identity, is the national postal and express delivery operator of Saudi Arabia. SPL provides postal, parcel and logistics services through its network of branches, processing facilities and delivery operations across the Kingdom, serving individuals, businesses and government organizations.

For domestic shipments, SPL offers Express for customers who need faster delivery with detailed Tracking and doorstep delivery. Express accepts shipments weighing up to 30 kg. SPL also offers Express Plus Flex, a premium domestic option in which parcels are accepted through an SPL branch and delivered directly to the recipient's door at supported destinations across Saudi Arabia, with tracking available through the website and SPL application.

Economy is designed for customers looking for a lower-cost shipping option. Domestic Economy shipments can weigh up to 30 kg and are normally sent and received through post offices, while delivery to the recipient's address may be available as an additional service. SPL's postal parcel services provide another option for sending items such as gifts, equipment and electronic devices within Saudi Arabia, with package tracking available from posting through delivery.

SPL's delivery network works alongside Saudi Arabia's National Address system, which provides standardized location information for individuals and organizations. Depending on the service, recipients may receive shipments at their address, through an SPL branch or through other supported delivery channels. These options make Saudi Post an important carrier for domestic e-commerce orders, personal parcels, documents and business shipments throughout Saudi Arabia.

How to Track Saudi Post packages

To Track a Saudi Post package with 4Tracking, enter your SPL tracking number into the tracking field and start the search. 4Tracking can display available shipment events and delivery progress in one place, making it convenient when you receive packages handled by Saudi Post as well as shipments carried by other postal and logistics companies.

You can also use the official Saudi Post | SPL Track Your Shipment service. SPL states that the tracking number can be found in an SMS sent to the customer's mobile number. Enter the complete identifier in the official tracking field to see available shipment information, including the latest status, origin, destination, service used and estimated delivery date when that information is available.

SPL's tracking page also allows several tracking numbers to be checked at once by separating the identifiers with spaces. Tracking events may show that shipment information has been received, that SPL has physically received the parcel, that it is moving between facilities, that it is out for delivery, that a delivery attempt was made or that delivery has been completed.

Saudi Post tracking number formats

Saudi Post's official tracking service states that a shipment tracking number contains 13 characters or more. SPL does not publish one fixed character pattern that applies to every domestic parcel service, so customers should not assume that every Saudi Post tracking number has the same prefix or the same total length.

The example displayed directly in SPL's official tracking field is XHSNF74652HBD, which is a 13-character alphanumeric identifier. SPL's tracking system also processes longer shipment numbers, confirming that 13 characters is not a universal maximum.

For registered mail, SPL's official service information states that the standardized barcode begins with the letter R. Because the official documentation reviewed does not provide a complete universal letter-and-digit pattern for all registered-mail identifiers, it is safer to copy the full barcode from the postal receipt or sender instead of trying to reconstruct it from an assumed format.

If package tracking reports that the shipment number is invalid, check every letter and digit against the SMS, receipt or information supplied by the sender. Make sure you are using the SPL shipment tracking number rather than an online-store order number, invoice number or payment reference. A newly created shipment may also take time to show movement if SPL has received the electronic shipment details but has not yet physically received the package.

Saudi Post delivery times within Saudi Arabia

Saudi Post delivery times depend on the service, shipment details and domestic destination. SPL's official FAQ therefore directs customers to its postage calculator for an estimated delivery time. The calculator allows users to select a shipment within Saudi Arabia and returns the available service options together with the expected number of working days.

SPL identifies Express as its fastest general shipping service. An official SPL service page lists an example national delivery range of approximately 2–5 days for Express. Economy is a lower-cost alternative with a longer transit time, and the same official service information gives an example of approximately 5 working days for domestic Economy delivery.

Saudi Post's official postal-parcel information gives another supported domestic example. Traditional postal parcels sent within the Kingdom have a published delivery period of approximately 4–8 working days, excluding the day on which the parcel is deposited with the postal service. This standard applies specifically to the postal-parcel service and should not be used as the expected time for every SPL product.

Registered mail also has a published domestic delivery period of approximately 4–8 working days plus the posting day. Registered mail covers items such as invoices, documents, booklets and magazines and is different from a normal merchandise parcel, so its delivery standard should be considered separately.

These examples are service-specific rather than a single promise for every shipment. The actual expected date can depend on the selected service, destination, acceptance time and other operational conditions. For the most relevant estimate, use SPL's postage calculator before shipping and then follow the package through Tracking after it has entered the network.

How to contact Saudi Post about shipment issues

If your Tracking has stopped updating, a package is delayed or the latest status indicates a delivery problem, Saudi Post | SPL provides several official customer-support channels. Within Saudi Arabia, customers can call the toll-free contact center at 19992. SPL also lists +966 11 289 8888 for customers contacting the organization from outside Saudi Arabia.

SPL's current customer-support page lists contact-center hours as 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. throughout the week. Customers can also email Care@SPLOnline.com.sa. The official support information lists the email channel as available 24/7 with a stated response time of one working day.

Other support options include the @SPL_Care customer-care account on X, the SPL application, the Maha virtual assistant and the online complaint or request system. SPL states that online complaints and requests are accepted 24/7 and that complaints are processed within a maximum of seven working days. Its published policy also states that a service complaint should be submitted no later than 30 days after the end of the agreed period for providing the service.

When contacting support about a package, keep the tracking number ready because SPL's complaint form requires it for shipment-related cases. If the shipment came from an online retailer or marketplace, contact the seller or sender as well. The sender has the original shipment information and may need to participate in a claim, compensation request or other formal investigation.

Frequently asked questions about Saudi Post package tracking issues

Why is my Saudi Post Tracking not updating?

A new shipment can initially remain without movement if SPL has received its electronic information but has not yet physically received the parcel. Check the tracking number carefully and ask the sender whether the package has been handed to Saudi Post. If a previously moving shipment stops updating beyond its expected delivery period, contact SPL customer support with the tracking number.

What does a Saudi Post tracking number look like?

SPL states that its tracking numbers contain 13 characters or more. The official tracking page displays XHSNF74652HBD as an example of an accepted 13-character format, but longer identifiers are also supported. There is therefore no verified single length or prefix that should be applied to every Saudi Post package.

Can I Track several Saudi Post packages at the same time?

Yes. SPL's official Track Your Shipment tool allows multiple shipment numbers to be entered, with the numbers separated by spaces. You can also use 4Tracking to follow Saudi Post packages together with shipments handled by other supported carriers.

How long does a Saudi Post package take to arrive within Saudi Arabia?

The time depends on the service and route. Official SPL information provides examples of approximately 2–5 days for Express and around 5 working days for Economy, while the postal-parcel service lists approximately 4–8 working days excluding the posting day. Use the SPL postage calculator for an estimate appropriate to the specific shipment.

Why does Saudi Post say my tracking number is invalid?

Compare the number with the SMS, receipt or shipping information from the sender and make sure every character was entered correctly. SPL requires a tracking number of at least 13 characters. Also confirm that you have not entered a retailer's order number, invoice reference or another identifier that is not the actual SPL shipment number.

What should I do if my Saudi Post package is delayed?

Check the latest package tracking event and compare it with the expected delivery time for the service used. SPL's official FAQ recommends contacting customer support with the tracking number when a shipment is delayed or has not been delivered. You can call 19992 within Saudi Arabia or use SPL's other support channels.

What should I do if SPL attempted delivery but I did not receive my package?

Continue monitoring Tracking for the next instruction or delivery event and make sure the telephone number and delivery information associated with the shipment are correct. If the status does not progress or you need to arrange further assistance, contact SPL at 19992 and provide the tracking number.

How do I report a missing Saudi Post package?

Use SPL's customer-support or online complaint service and provide the shipment tracking number together with the requested contact and shipment details. You can also call 19992, email Care@SPLOnline.com.sa or contact the sender. SPL states that online complaints are processed within a maximum of seven working days.
