Track PPL packages

PPL

PPL CZ is a major parcel carrier operating in Czechia, providing delivery services for private recipients, e-commerce businesses and other commercial customers. Its network handles parcels across the Czech market, with shipments moving through local depots, sorting facilities, delivery routes and a large network of alternative collection points.

PPL delivers parcels directly to addresses as well as to PPL Parcelshops, PPL Parcelboxes and supported third-party boxes. For people who want to send an occasional package without a shipping contract, PPL offers the Parcel for You service, which can be arranged online or through the mojePPL mobile app. Depending on the selected option, customers can hand the parcel over at a PPL drop-off point or request collection by a driver.

Business customers can use domestic parcel products for deliveries to private or company addresses, together with additional services such as cash on delivery, returns and increased shipment liability. PPL also provides international parcel services in cooperation with DHL, including products designed for deliveries to addresses and collection points in other European markets.

For package tracking, you can Track PPL packages on 4Tracking by entering the shipment number into the tracking field. 4Tracking can identify many carriers automatically, or you can select PPL manually when necessary. PPL also provides its own shipment Tracking service on its website and in the mojePPL mobile app.

How PPL shipment tracking works

PPL assigns a shipment number that can be used to follow the package after it enters the carrier's transport network. PPL states that customers can track a shipment on its website or in the mojePPL app by entering the 11-digit shipment number.

The normal delivery process begins when the sender hands the package to a PPL driver, Parcelshop or Parcelbox. The parcel is taken to an entry depot, transported through the central sorting hub and directed overnight toward the appropriate delivery depot. From there, it is loaded for delivery to the recipient's address or selected PPL pick-up point.

Tracking events can therefore reflect different stages of this process, although not every physical movement necessarily creates a new customer-visible update. Once a shipment has been accepted for transport, PPL can also send notifications by email or SMS, and the mojePPL app can provide information about packages associated with the recipient.

How to Track a PPL package on 4Tracking

Enter the complete PPL shipment number into the tracking field on 4Tracking. If automatic carrier detection identifies PPL, you can immediately view the available package tracking events. If another carrier is selected incorrectly, choose PPL manually and search again. Always enter the number exactly as provided by the sender or PPL.

PPL tracking number formats

PPL's official customer-service guidance identifies the standard shipment number used for online Tracking as an 11-digit number. Because the carrier specifically instructs customers to enter an 11-digit shipment number, this is the supported format that should be used when tracking a normal PPL shipment through its Czech system.

PPL does not provide a universal public example that should be copied or used to reconstruct a missing number, so it is best not to guess the digits or modify another reference. Obtain the shipment number directly from the sender, shipment notification, shipping label or information associated with the parcel.

Is the PPL delivery PIN the same as the tracking number?

No. PPL also uses a PIN for certain delivery and collection actions, but this is different from the 11-digit shipment number used for Tracking. The collection or delivery PIN can be provided by email, SMS or through the mojePPL app and may be required when collecting a parcel or changing eligible delivery instructions.

PPL delivery times within Czechia

PPL states that a parcel is usually delivered on the day after it is accepted for transport. For shipments entering Czechia from abroad, delivery within the PPL network is also normally planned for the day after the parcel enters the country, provided there is no operational problem affecting the shipment.

For example, if PPL collects an eligible domestic parcel on a normal working day and no unexpected issue occurs, the carrier generally aims to deliver it on the following working day. PPL's domestic parcel information similarly describes next-working-day distribution as its normal service pattern.

There are situations where delivery can take longer. PPL specifically states that if a shipment has to be transferred from parcel transport to pallet transport, for example because its weight or dimensions exceed the permitted parcel limits, delivery is delayed by at least one additional working day.

Delivery times for PPL shipments arriving from abroad

PPL states that, if no unexpected event occurs, international shipments are normally transported to Czechia within 2 to 5 working days after being collected abroad. Once the package enters Czechia, it is usually delivered on the following day according to PPL's normal domestic delivery process.

PPL also promotes international parcel delivery through Europe in cooperation with DHL and states that applicable international services can deliver within 5 working days. The exact transit time depends on the origin, destination and product used, so this should be treated as a service guideline rather than a guaranteed time for every international shipment.

Customs procedures can also influence international deliveries where they apply. PPL notes that shipments to or from destinations outside the relevant customs area may require documentation and customs clearance, which can add time beyond the normal transport estimate.

What PPL delivery options are available?

Depending on the service, PPL can deliver a shipment to an address or to a PPL pick-up point. Its network includes PPL Parcelshops, self-service PPL Parcelboxes and supported third-party boxes. PPL Parcelboxes operate continuously and can be used for both collecting and, where supported, sending packages.

For eligible shipments, recipients can also change certain delivery instructions after the parcel has been handed over for transport or has entered Czechia. Available changes can include redirecting the package to a PPL Parcelshop or Parcelbox, changing the delivery date or changing the delivery address. These changes can be made through mojePPL or PPL's delivery-management page when the service allows them.

Why has my PPL Tracking status not changed?

A package can move between PPL depots and sorting facilities before another customer-visible Tracking event appears. If your shipment has only recently been handed to the sender's driver or drop-off location, allow time for PPL to accept and process it within the transport network.

For a shipment coming from abroad, the parcel may also be travelling toward Czechia before its next PPL event appears. PPL's published guidance says that foreign shipments normally reach Czechia within 2 to 5 working days after collection abroad when no unexpected event occurs.

How to contact PPL about a shipment issue

For questions from recipients and customers about a parcel, PPL directs users to its online Chat or customer-service web form. These channels can be used when a shipment appears delayed, a delivery has not gone as expected or you need help understanding the latest package tracking information.

If you are dissatisfied with a delivery, PPL specifically asks customers to submit the issue through the web form or Chat. For a damaged package, visible damage should be recorded with the driver when the parcel is received. If the contents are damaged even though the outer packaging showed no damage at delivery, PPL says the complaint should be reported through its web form within 7 calendar days of delivery.

For a damage complaint, PPL may require photographs of the parcel, its contents, internal filling, external packaging and all labels, as well as a sales invoice where applicable. PPL states that it primarily handles claims with the sender, although the recipient can also report the issue to the sender. A complete and properly documented complaint has a published processing deadline of 30 days.

Contractual business customers have a separate B2B customer-service channel. PPL lists b2b@ppl.cz and 225 331 600 for contract-customer support on working days from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Ordinary recipients should use the customer Chat or web form unless PPL instructs them otherwise.

Frequently asked questions about PPL package tracking issues

Why is my PPL tracking number not working?

Check that you entered the complete 11-digit shipment number and that none of the digits were mistyped. If the package was only recently handed over, PPL may not yet have recorded the first transport event. Ask the sender to confirm the number if it remains unrecognized.

How many digits does a PPL tracking number have?

PPL's official customer-service instructions state that customers should enter an 11-digit shipment number when using the carrier's Tracking system.

Can I use my PPL PIN for package tracking?

The PIN and shipment number serve different purposes. The 11-digit shipment number is used for Tracking, while the PIN sent by email, SMS or mojePPL can be used for functions such as collecting a shipment or managing eligible delivery changes.

How long does PPL normally take to deliver within Czechia?

PPL states that shipments are usually delivered on the day after they are accepted for transport. This is the carrier's normal delivery pattern rather than an unconditional guarantee, and exceptions can occur because of operational conditions or the characteristics of the shipment.

How long does a PPL parcel from abroad take to reach Czechia?

If no unexpected event occurs, PPL states that foreign shipments are normally transported to Czechia within 2 to 5 working days after being collected abroad. The parcel is usually delivered on the day after it enters Czechia.

Can I Track PPL packages on 4Tracking?

Yes. Enter the PPL shipment number on 4Tracking to view available package tracking updates. Automatic carrier detection can identify many PPL shipments, or you can select PPL manually when necessary.

Can I change the delivery of a PPL package?

For some services, yes. Eligible shipments can be redirected to a PPL Parcelshop or Parcelbox, moved to another delivery date or assigned a different delivery address. Changes become available only at certain stages of transport and can be managed through mojePPL or PPL's delivery-management service using the required PIN.

What should I do if my PPL package is damaged?

If the outer packaging is visibly damaged, make sure the damage is recorded with the driver when accepting the parcel. If damage to the contents is discovered after delivery despite apparently intact packaging, PPL instructs customers to report it through the web form within 7 calendar days and provide the requested photographs and supporting documents.

Who should I contact if my PPL package is delayed or has a delivery problem?

PPL directs recipients and customers to its online Chat or customer-service web form for shipment questions and delivery complaints. Include the 11-digit shipment number and describe the problem clearly so the carrier can identify the parcel and investigate the issue.
